It's A New Year and New Beginnings

It is a New Year and I decided to get started with a Blog on the things I love.  Last year at this time my Dad found out he had cancer.  It was a devastating time but, something Dad said to me during that time keeps coming back to me.  Evelyn, do what you love now, don't wait till you are retired or when you have the time, to do something you love or want to do because then it may be to late.  Live for now.  Dad not a day goes by I don't miss you terribly, even now, typing this, brings tears that I have to brush away, but Dad this first post is for you and remembering what you said because I won't ever forget you.

Friends I hope a year from now we can look back on this blog and remember that it is about living life and following your passion and dreams.....more to come on that...  For now, this posting is simple as is this blog design but by this time next year, I hope it has more energy, pizazz, life, love and we are all experiencing and living our dreams.

More to come in the days that follow....and be patient as I figure out how to make this blog even better and fun to look at!!!   Happy New Year!!!

  1. Your very first comment! I love you Mom! I am so happy for you! I know that Pepa is looking down on you and is smiling. I know he is happy for you and he is proud that ha has a daughter just like you! Well actually he might not be looking at you RIGHT now because he is probably either fixing a John Deer Tractor, Farming, or sleeping! You know.. Those things make you really tired! Anyways, back to the point. I LOVE YOU! You have taught me that there is never going to not be obstacles in what you do. And I know that there has defiantly been some obstacles this previous year and you know what.. you did it! It may have been hard, but you did it! And that's all that counts. One day I'm gonna have a HUGE obstacle that I have to face and you know who i'm going to think about? YOU. I will think about how taught you were the year of 2011. And I will think about how you over came it. And I will face that hurdle and I will jump over it, like you did. Mom, I love you and I know you can do anything that you put your mind to it! You have a heart like Pepa and I hope that one day I will have a heart just as good as yours. Mom, Pepa loves you, I love you, Dad loves you, and God loves you. So many people love you! And I hope you realize that. I know that Pepa is happy that he has a daughter like you and I know he is happy your living your life and enjoying it. But I also know, that he can't wait to see you! I love you mom, and I have no idea what I would do without you. I love you. ( Again..) Love, Your daughter, Jessica(:
